Bears Smoke Lions To Kick Off 3 Game Divisional Stretch

Back-to-back games coming out guns blazing in the 1st half. Mitch looked awesome, the defense was forcing turnovers, and the Lions are still picking their teeth up off the Soldier Field grass.

The Bears didn’t close em out like we all would’ve liked to see as Detroit kept pressing at the end, but I’m not going to complain about it. There was no way we were losing that game after that 1st half.

Cody Parkey missing 2 extra points and 2 field goals was obviously the biggest sore spot, and there isn’t really much I can say about it. He’d be a $9 million dollar dead cap hit if we dumped him this year and a $5.1 million dollar hit if we dumped him next year. Just gotta hope he figures it out for now I guess.

Hell of a way to kick off this 3 week stretch. A huge, huge, huge test next week with Minnesota coming to town. We need everybody to tape up the ankles, the fingers, grab the nose strips or whatever the hell you gotta do to get ready for it because it’s going to be a brawl.
